Moving on...

Well my MINI experience has come to an end. We traded the Clubman in for a 2010 CPO 328i xDrive Touring this week. I'm excited to have more space, toys, and AWD for the winter, but I will definitely miss the go-kart-like handling of the mini and generally being able to drive it like a hooligan (safely of course). The MINI was the funnest car I have ever owned and maybe someday we'll get a new generation, who knows what the future holds!

Thank you to NAM, this is an awesome forum, it helped with many questions along the way, and I was able to provide some help myself! And thank you to all the MINI folks out there, a great bunch of car owners.

+1 for the E91!

9 months ago I added a 2009 RWD 328i touring to the garage. I love it! I accidentally stumbled on it at the local BMW dealer I purchased my clubman from. It had 8,500 miles on it with a 6 speed manual transmission. It's a rare automobile.

The touring is more comfortable with four people and dogs! The MINI is more fuel efficient at 34.8 mpg.

The Clubman S has more "seat of the pants" excitement but the Touring is the autobahn cruiser with a "holy sh.. I'm going that fast" feel. The inline six is silky smooth and I've averaged approximately 28.8 mpg with it

Best of luck with your xdrive touring. See you on Bimmerfest or e90Post.com

Aloha!

The dogs are just as rare as the clubman and 3 series Touring. They are also just as high energy and high maintance. The Vizsla breed is from Hungary. They are a type of pointer-retriever for bird hunting. I'll let the dogs know that you thought they were cool!

Aloha
