'09 R55 front bumper fog light
I've had these fog lights laying around for a while now. I haven't had the time to even think about putting them on. But, I just wanted a little help. I just didn't want to jump into this project and come out not it right. As of right now, it seems that can not upload my pic to the thread. I'll get it out ASAP. I purchased it from outmotoring.com.
Has anyone put new/oem fog lights on their MC/MCS/R55/S? Are their anything I need to look out for? Curtain wire/s I should/nt use? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank u

you should be able to find some links under the Electrical Modification section for 2 Gen Mini. I can only speak to converting a non S Clubman that only had DRLs and not fog lights. As for the replacement of the lights, it would be the same. I had to take my bumper off which was a pain ,but some people say you can just take the headlights out and work through the bumper that way. If it is a direct replacement light that should work but mine were generic and I could not use the factory Mini brackets.
My main problem was finding a power source to run my angel eyes since I only had one power source to the DRLS, I needed another source and then I needed to run a wire through the firewall into the cockpit. That part was not hard.
If you have an S model there should be two power wires to each light and you should be able to hook into them.
Look up in the DIys info on the lights. I think there are numerous examples on installing the particular light you purchased.
Good luck.
