R55 Clubman Discontinued?

I'm really disappointed that MINI has decided to water down the Clubman design by making it a four door. The three door car is so unique- It's a sports car and shooting brake at the same time with great balance in its styling, wheelbase and layout. The car is dead sexy if you ask me, with just the right amount of aggressiveness.
In contrast I think the four door car looks bland. The tail lamp redesign is a total mess. It looks like something from Buick or Saturn. Just plain ugly. It screams "the accountants and marketing guys won out". The Geneva Concept car had some good cues but sadly, MINI concept car styling does not survive to production to the extent I would like (the Countryman is a perfect example of that). The preproduction Clubman seen in spy photos is totally underwhelming.
In years to come, I think the original Clubman will be a valued classic car. I plan on keeping mine for a long time.
