Hey everyone...just finished replacing my timing chain and guard as the dreaded rattle became more apparent. Now I have some 'noise' I haven't heard before. The rattle is gone thankfully. I originally thought I had a valve cover gasket leak, so today I re-did that, but still there. For me it sounds like turbo and I hear hissing sound and whistle noise when I let off throttle. Ok...little more info today as code P2178 came up.

 

can you hear bov? do you have stock air box?

 

Finally figured it out ... Undid all the hoses again and found that the bottom of the y pipe behind the engine was not attached. Funny, but the hose clamp was tight, just not attached. I will definitely sleep better tonight!
