Will need a new battery

Wife's 2011 Justa Clubman is going to need a new battery. We are leaving Sunday on a 10 road with her sister and her husband. The Battery will be dead when we get back. Been have little electrical gremlins ie. codes that show when I use the Icarly app to check on thing just false reading now I figure is low voltage when start the car, it cranks but not to good and the other day it wouldn't start after sitting for 4 days. Today it acted funny when she was driving it. Check for codes ECU low voltage and ABS low voltage., When running is 14.5 when off it show 12.4 or less. So new battery when we get back. Brought her old car 2004 Ford Expedition out semi retirement to use as to much luggage and girl stuff.

This was the original battery 48789 miles and 5 1/2 years old time for a new one. What is a good battery to get other that from Mini. know about the vent tube COSTCO carries Interstate, Sam's Club has Energizer, Battery in car is an EXidE.

Thanks

Tom

Laugh as they may but I puchased a battery fom Walmart(Johnson Controls) and found it to be the best price/warranty available at the time. The fit was exact. Son in law purchased an Interstate battery for his Subie at Costco for $40 less than online. Lots of value out there if you shop around.

I replaced mine in 2014 and I got a new one from the MINI dealer in Reno, Nv. Cost $190, but I haven't had any issues. I put the old Mini battery in my 62 Buick Skylark and it's still going strong.

From: In the here and now, for now.
Walk in to an auto parts store.
Tell the man you need a battery.
Tell him what year and model its for.
He'll look it up, go to the back and get one.
You pay for it.
He'll go install it for you.
You drive away happy.

Got home Tuesday and the Clubman barely started. COSTCO, Sam's Club and Batteries + either did have the right battery or wrong physical size or didn't carry one. Went to Mini and paid about $30 more than the other places but a least it fits and the Mini started right up, So happy wife happy life and trip was great didn't much but read and watch the Whales that came in the cove and ate, also the Bald Eagle who twice a day trip to grab baby Sea Gull or other baby sea bird for breakfast or dinner magnificent bird and watch how the thousands of birds on the rock reacted to seeing Eagle. Lot of good Sea Food lunches or dinners. We will be going by ourselves later this summer or fall and will take the Mini.
