ABS, Airbag, TPMS light on

I have a 2009 which has all three of those indicator lights on plus the odometer and speedometer are not working, I had a gentleman tell me I needed to replace the ABS unit, is that correct or is there something else i should look for? He said all of those are controlled from there. I'm new to MINI world so any help or second opinions are going to be greatly appreciated.

When I was rebuilding my MCS, i had these lights on. the speedometer was working fine. I guess my question is, what is the background story to the lights? how did you get them and when did they appear?

Im not sure on the background of the lights, I thought i saw some where that it could be a voltage problem with the battery or some thing like that ? or is it just one sensor that could cause this? The car runs and drives great. Im kinda of DIY'r so if there is something i can test that would narrow it down. that would be great

If it a voltage issue, I think you can check the battery to see if it good and has juice in it. You can also test the alternator to see if it charging and/or putting the right voltage. Check your fuse box by the passenger side for any water intrusion. Do you have mini programming amd coding tools like INPA, NCS expert, WinkFP and so on?

If it is red light, most likely it is the break pads...I know I know, your breaks are still young, but this is Mini...just to be on the safe side, check the break fluid level. Also perform visual inspection of the breaks to see how low they are :-)

It appears to be the rear brake pads.
