R55 Oil in your PCV Hose?

Oil in your PCV Hose?
I wanted to just get a survey from people who personally work on their cars, and have this question answered: how much oil is in your PCV hose?
My car is running about 95% properly, but it has moments when the power surges when accelerating a low rpm. Also, the idle is a little rough sometimes, but not bad.
My PCV hose has fairly solid stream of oil in it, making me think the PCV is stuck open. I took the throttle body off, and it was rather oily, so I cleaned it. At the same time I removed the throttle body, tried to clean the PCV hose and the intake inlet.
About a week later, it was very oily again. I removed the PCV hose from the car, and it was extremely oily all the way through it, and the intake also had a good deal of oil in it. I know the PCV should vent some oil, but I would not expect it to be sucking enough oil to create a steady stream of oil in a week's time.
Edited: My car is a non s car.
