Hi all. I am having issues with the passenger side barn door not opening. I bought a new lock mechanism and changed out but that didn't help. The door still won't open. I've searched the forums but had no luck finding a solution. Any thoughts as to what else I can check? It will open every once in a while. For the last few weeks though, we've been living with not using the rear doors.

Sounds like either a switch issue or wiring issue. I've fixed multiple wiring problems in the barn doors on these cars over the years.

The last one I did the gasket around the handle was leaking and got water and corrosion in the connector to the handle, a new handle and some wiring later and the door was back to working order.

Hi. Just an update. I changed the lock mechanism and it still did not work. I put the old lock mechanism back on and it still did not work. I left the door with the latch not working.
Now, the door is working properly again!!??
The door opens, the lock works and you can also open the door with the key fob. What gives here????
Maybe something in the wiring when it got moved around???
