JCW Front sway bar and valve cover

I just bought a new to me2013 r55 and I am smelling some burning oil. That being said It looks like some leakage around the valve cover so I am going to start there.

The car I have has a JCW sway bar and it looks like I need to remove it to get to all the bolts on the valve cover.

My question is does anyone have any tip on what I need to do to move the sway bar before I just start unscrewing things . Also it seems like this job is pretty easy, but if anyone has any tips on this n18 motor please let me know. Thanks in advance.

The sway bar has three hex nuts on each side that secure it to the strut towers, unscrew those and you can remove the sway bar. I wanna say it's 13mm but can't be sure

Isn’t there a cross bolt one each end that mounts it to the brackets? You could just remove those, instead of disturbing the strut nuts...

Also, it’s a tower brace. The sway bar is underneath and mounts to the subframe.

looking at the setup again. I don't think I have to remove from the strut tower. I am thinking I may have to loosen the tension on the one bolt. and then remove the bolt in the center on one side. I just need to be able to lift it so I can get to the valve cover bolts.
