Mini Drivers,
I just bought a 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman on the 23rd of May and yesterday something strange started happening. While leaving a green light when the clubman hit 4th gear and got to the top of the rev it seemed as if the BOV activated causing it over revved by 2K rpm. I had no boost and the tranny when it switched to 5th gear had a serious jerk as if the tranny had just engaged. It only does this in 4th gear. Then today while driving to work it did it again but this time it seemed the BOV was stuck open. Very little power could be made. I pulled over turned the car off and back on and it appeared to fix the issue but off course I know its not a permanent fix. Any information on what could be wrong would be most appreciated. Yes I have looked thru the forums for something similar but could not find anything.
