Need help to identify a part
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I ran into a problem on my wife`s 2011 clubman S that I am not able to solve myself.
A few weeks ago, the half engine light came on. The car stil starts and drives, but with noticeably reduced power. Also, it threw the codes P0598, P0003, an C342D. Fuse #2 (25a) was blown, when I replaced it, I saw smoke coming from underneath the intake manifold.
I removed the intake manifold to check for damaged electrical components and wires and found the wire that led to the part in the picture without insulation. The part itself sits on the engine block right above the oil pan (facing the rear of the engine)
I could not find anything on the parts diagram that would help me.
Please advise if you can

This part is on the bottom, facing the firewall. It is usually flush against the engine and popped out when I was wiggling with the connector to the damaged wires.

Iirc it was the motor mount on the upper left. The pic was taken from underneath the car. I followed a frayed wire that came from the plastic cover protected part of the wiring harness that runs across the engine.
I will try to take a better pic after work.
