Bombarded with codes all of a sudden
I JUST got the car back from getting a footwell module put in, and now I have the half power logo, codes p0301, p0302, and P15DF. I hope to GOD that my pump is not going out because that was replaced at probably 115k under warranty. The other 2 may signal just coils.
Thoughts? This is too much to handle.

Based on just a search of these forums, 15DF sure sounds like high pressure fuel pump… The misfire codes are probably secondary to the fuel pump going out.
Looks like ECS has them on sale:

thank you both for your responses. what is with these damn things failing?? I now have a CEL light on. I used my scanner that doesn't have MINI but has a BMW selection for manufacturer specific codes, and then I used the auto parts store's little handheld and they both say p15df.
kedu, you have an n14? I have an n18.so I'm not sure if your pressures will differ and the part itself is different.
so what else could p15df be? I called the dealer I had it repaired at and he says he hasn't had one come back a 2nd time for the replacement. and then says the p codes could be different things. idk but I need to know asap to order the part

Replaced HPFP with a reman, new gas cap, 2 new coils...car is now stuck in half power mode, throwing all misfires, and also giving a p0087 code. Car was drivable until I replaced the pump, however a shop that specializes in minis seemed to reassure.me it was the HPFP.
I think i am going to put the old pump back on and see what happens. Problem here is i am very far from where my tools are stored.

Have you tested the power wires and grounds to your misfiring coils? The reason I am asking is that I had a swell of codes, they came up due to dependency terminals. It turned out to be a ground problem.
each time I tried to start, I found that I was getting wild fluctuations in the number of codes and their origins made no sense. After the repair, everything went right.
Just a thought.

Be very cautious regarding "refurbished" HPFPs. I bought one that clearly had been "refurbished" by sandblasting it. It was full of sandblast media, clearly the fuel ports were left uncovered during "refurbishment". It was sent back.
I doubt that there is anyone capable of actually doing a full refurbishment on an HPFP, the o-ring replacement discussed on another thread does not replace all worn/failed pump components.
In addition R55s used the same pump as the N14 up through 06/2012.
