Blow off valve?

So when I start my car in the morning it sounds like it’s sucking a lot of air then shuts off after a couple of seconds but the rpms are at like 1000 idk if it’s the blow off valve getting stuck then when it worms up it closes or a vacuum leak and befor the my car has been running a lil rough I have a 2014 r55

Sounds like you are describing part of the cold engine start / warm up cycle. However, you haven’t stated if the car has any modifications? Are you running OEM diverted valve and intake? Or aftermarket parts?

Is this still your current intake, or which aftermarket kit do you have?

Going from a "Stock" intake to an aftermarket 'open' element intake, you will hear different sounds. The stock intake is very good at muffling intake noises.

I get there will be new sounds but it’s like a fan is in there lol and when I push on the gas a little bit it stops till I release from the gas the sound comes back idk it’s like the blow off valve is stuck open and when I push on the gas it pushes it closed maybe idk I will take a video so you can hear it

I have the M7 intake and when its a little chilly outside and the cold start is running at around 1,300 rpm that thing is sucking a lot of air and it is crazy loud and then once it drops to 900 its back to sounding normal

The OEM valves are trash anyways. Even on my wife's mild Countryman, it has a Turbosmart dual port. Wouldn't be a bad idea to upgrade it anyways if you are planning on running a stock, JCW or F21M turbo as they all use the same
