2008 mini cooper Traveller in Newsweek
Hey guys I was looking in Newsweek and saw a 2008 mini cooper traveller.
They said the price would be about $25,000. The targeted audience would be "mini fans needing someting a little more maxi", The rivals Chevy HHR, PT Cruiser. Then i got to what they called the wow factor it said "Sent generator pumps aromatherapy synced to songs playing on the stereo"
Sent generator pumps aromatheraoy synced to songs on the stereo. IT'S A CAR!!!!!!!!! if BMW is thinking about putting that thing into the car they are stupid, they are taking the mini and destroying it, not olny is the Mini Traveller ugly they are putting crap like that in it.
I like the new minis up to now but I think BMW needs to wake up and get back to the roots of the classic coopers before they ruin the cars.

Ok, Yucca, seeing how you're in 'Bama, you need you an edumacation. Go to Itunes and download the original "Lynyrd Skynyrd" version of "That Smell" immediately. Then get a bottle of Jack Daniels or Southern Comfort and swig while listening repeatedly. For extra credit, you can also try anything my Marshall Tucker or Molly Hatchet

Ok, no flaming by my fellow Southerners. I am a true GRITS gal and have been to concerts of all of the above among others! And yes, I do have a pickup truck, a dog and an shiny shotgun (I use it for skeet!)

Why, Thank-you kindly As do you!
I can see we will get along famously at MOTD4!

PS. Generally I would agree about the Southern Comfort, Wild Turkey can be substituted. Although, I have recently become somewhat fond of a drink called a "Scarlett O'Hara", Cranberry juice, Southern Comfort and some fresh squeezed lime, YUMMY!

I know I made it sound like I was getting a MINI soon, but that was just me getting over-excited. My parents want me in the Saab for now, so I dont have much choice.
Also, I'm moving to North Carolina for school next fall, so my parents won't let me get a new car now anyway. That means no 2006 MCS like I had planned...
It's ok though, I actually do like the car I have....I could be a lot worse off.
So like I was saying, my parents don't want me to get a new car now when I'm planning on going out of state next year. We also got into an argument a couple months ago over it. They felt like they were spoiling me way too much or something, and they said I cant expect to get a new car every year. I am fine with this. I'm really looking foward to the '07 MCS, so I dont mind waiting.
I still really like the MINI, and it's still been my #1 choice off and on for the last couple years.
About the sig...I went and looked at/drove a 325i again, and just couldnt get into it. It doesnt have a whole lot of personality imo. The MCS wins...
BUT...I'm not gonna pretend I am 100% sure about the MCS...it's not gonna happen just yet and a lot could change between now and then. I've looked at quite a few cars though, and the MCS is still my favorite.
One of these days I'll finally get one and no one will believe me...haha.
