I don't know why, but the clutch engages a lot easier when I have the sport button on. With it off, it feels like I have to let the clutch almost all the way out before it engages. With the sport button on, the clutch engages almost immediately as you let your foot off the peddle. Could this be possible or is it my imagination?

I definitely use the sport button now everytime I leave the driveway. It just drives that much better all the way around in the on position...

I had the same thought last night!!! I do think the point of engagement for the clutch is a lot quicker w/ the button on. If others could verify this - it'd be great

I went out and did a little A/B test with the clutch: sport button on and sport button off. Yep, with the sport button on, the distance my peddle travels before engaging the clutch is about half by my estimate. Will be interesting to hear what others have to say...

k7fdn7sg, I don't think it's your imagination. I find I shift much more smoothly with the sport button on. I was very surprised, but it's consistent.

Nothing different with the clutch - it's all how your throttle reacts with the sport button on and off.

I'm sure it's nothing to do with the transmission, but the throttle "timing" could definitely affect shifting...

Wow....not hitting the sport button for 800 miles is like making out for say 12 weeks straight before having really really good sex.

hmm, I think this is my first post and I'm going to get banned LOL.

Regardless, impressive willpower...err....you didn't know what you were missing perhaps.
