yea sports button can be used when ever, its just the 4500 rpms and the 100mph fro the first 1k ish miles. but once again, some people dont think you need that at all, some just think the frst tank of gas
I think the Sport Button with the manual 6-speed makes a huge difference; it's like night and day. Without the sport button the car feels fairly moderately powered. With the Sport Button, 2nd gear can get you into some scary territory...
My break-in plan is simple. I'm going to pick up the car in L.A. then drive it to Tucson. 5 days later I'll drive to Seattle where it will sit for a year
It should be broken in by the time I pass back through L.A. on the way to Seattle.
mommas....standard or auto??? I can see staying away from sport mode if one has an auto tranny as in sm more shifts happen at or around 4K rpms than not. One is bound to go over if pushing it at all. Out of sm shifts seem to happen at about 3K rpms. Much more safe.
On a manual this would not be an issue as only steering and throttle are affected.
