Voice Commands

Hope this helps and you can read it.

Some functions are easier to use voice commands; others are quicker with the joystick.

I see there are commands to play DVDs. Does that mean the drive is really a DVD-ROM? Has anyone filled a DVD with MP3s and been able to play it? That would be a space saver.

Yes, I've done that. I put several dozen albums of my mp3 files (each album in it's own folder) and placed the DVD in the SAT/NAV slot. You can do the same thing for CD's (with much less capacity of course) in the CD slot. The SAT/NAV isn't available when listening to DVD mp3's.

I see. I was hoping the "CD slot" was actually a DVD drive also. I don't see why this shouldn't be done these days since the hardware cost isn't really an issue.

I tried the DVD in the CD slot and it didn't recognize it. I agree with you, it's not that much more.
