Oh no worries!!!!! I definitely did not find it offensive; just felt like sharing why I wouldn't choose it Sorry if it didn't come across through my reply, but it's surely a non-issue
I still appreciated the suggestion
That's what I thought, just wanted to be sure
Here's some more random red based ideas...
Rudolph
Elmo
Clifford
Manhattan (from maraschino cherries)
Alto (stop signs, then it also has nice musical connotations)
There is an old "(60's) song by Neil Diamond about "Cracklin' Rose", a red wine that makes him forget everything but the good time he is having right then. Sets the world right.
I offer Cracklin' Rose.
I remember the tune. But wasn't it "Cracklin' Rosie"? How about Rosie? Or the name of a red wine, like Merlot, Cabernet, Chianti, Pinot, Shiraz. You could have a logo, a Chianti bottle with the car on the label. The possibilities are endless. (I haven't named mine either).

Not to hijack or get off topic, but Rufus is a great name. My red-nosed pit is named Rufus and he LOVES riding in the DVL. He loved the Princess Grace, too, although she is gone now and the photo doesn't show his excitement (see gallery).
He would be honored to share the name with you and no, you don't have to let him ride.
Scotch Bonnet peppers are found in the Carribean and named for its resemblance to a Scotsman's bonnet-ties it back to the UK, a variety of Habanero (also the name of my favorite restaurant at a resort near Negril, Jamaica). It's what gives Jerk sauce its flavor. So scotch or bonnie could be nicknames
Clifford is fabulous! The big red dog. heh. Perfect (imo)!
On this topic - how do you know what names have already been "taken?" I don't want to step on anyone's toes. Obviously we can look in people's signatures, but wondered if there was a listing somewhere?
