R56 How long do the RFs last?

I had Dunlop R/Fs on my 06MCS and they had 24K on them when I got rid of them. They still had a good bit of tread left but were noisey and rough riding so I put on BFGoodrich g Force non-R/Fs and haven't regreted it since. In fact I should have switched a long time ago.

I agree. My right rear lasted about 10 days. ran over a key, which put a hole in the tread. Tire was replaced. Can't wait to get rid of them

My service advisor told me if I rotate every 5k, I can expect about 24k out of my RF's. Not sure what I'll do then. Shop for the most durable ones, I suspect. I have no complaints about the ride. I bought a sports car with a sports car ride. It is exactly what I expected. Actually it is a lot more comfortable than the Lotus Elise I considered.

Between the cost to replace the RFs as "incidents" occurred, and the rough ride, it took me about 3K miles before I said, "to hell with these" and upgraded to aftermarket wheels/tires.
To those that can hang in there and run out the useful life of RFs, I say more power to you. I didn't have the patience.

Mine looked to be headed towards 20k or so, until I went out of align and toasted the inside fronts at the Dragon last month. Fortunately, I had 2 spares with good tread left, to replace the burned ones, but I can't wait to get the new tires I bought [Kumho ASX] installed now. With a track day coming up on Friday and about 500 miles roundtrip, hopefully, I'll get my wish....
