Oh! R56 Hypersport + all the Pkgs sweet.

I am sure some of you that browse on here for info may appreciate this, i finally got to see a R56 with the infamous HyperSport Pkg, which includeds the larger sway bars and sport struts, plus the factory aero kit. To me the kit is looks unfinished, but on a Astro Black I though looked great, just becose the black arches do not look out of place, and they sort of bland together.
I also notoce the grille is very different than the JCW grille and the OEM.

whachathing? yeah or nah

Very cool. I hate the way the hypersport looks on all other colors 'cause of the wheel wells but it looks good on the black.

does look good but would be much nicer if the arches were painted.

On black the kit looks ALRIGHT....but on other colors it just looks SO unfinished. Some parts of the arches are painted, some arent. They just stop so bluntly. I will never understand what they were thinking

Exactly. I think I would still prefer the JCW kit if the arches were painted, but they could have done much better with this kit. It looks somewhat passable on black, though.

PAINT THE ARCHES! Yikes! Why does the factory miss what appears to the rest of us to be a required detail! I like the grilles though! Does anyone REALLY know specs on the suspension?

Grilles rally nice. Rear really nice. Front really nice. Side pieces pretty nice. It's not lowered, but it looks like it should be. Looks better than the JCW aero. Does it cost a lot more (I assume yes)?

That kit is a stinker half colour coded, looks like they run out of money to paint the arches.

Yikes. The arches are screaming to be painted. Seems like a no brainer to almost everyone except MINI? I think that's the BMW syndrome.

Hyper Sport Pkg as the second quarter:

Aero Kit
Sport Suspension plus ( thicker swaybars and sport shocks)

I think the factory aero kit looks good on astro black ONLY, They kit is being re worked becose of the arches, But the front looks terrific, the fog light cavities are larger giving the front a more agressive look and the wind skirt undercarriege is split which in my opinion looks better than the OEM R56, getting the part number soon, I know someone who is working on a set of Carbon Splitter which will go right on the same spot as the aero kit ones. Also the side skits come color coded and the honeycombed rear grille is eliminated with a smooth piece with a nice detail around the rear fog lights which are norm with this kit.

Anyway is not for everyone but is a midway between the agressive look of the JCW and the OEM look, and YES! only in black please.. hehehe

The black looks fine on the black car . The "angular lines" don't jump out at you. On the Pepper White it looked terrible. I just picked mine up today from Sublime Restorations (Rowley,MA). They did a perfect job matching the paint (Excellent work and would highly recomend) Next week I'll install the H & R springs, and that will finish the look (for now )

I like it OK.....to me it makes the Mini's nose look even longer. I would like to see a side by side with the JCW.
