Where to buy?

I posted this under the general forum too, but thought it wouldn't hurt...

Ok, I'm ready to go and place my "order" but want some advice on the "where" piece of it. I've been to 2 dealers so far and have had difference experiences. Habberstad, NY, I visited twice, and both times have had a pretty negative experience. I will not be buying there (if they're treating me this way now, when I've made it clear that I'm ready to buy, what will the service be like afterwards?!). Morristown, NY was better. I was just a little concerned that it's a pretty small place, and kinda out of the way. I don't mind paying a little (emphasize "little" ) more for the long term service. Things I'd want in a dealer would be 1.) A mini (or bimmer!) loaner when I do take it in for service, not a Taurus or Neon, 2.) Detail oriented people in case I start having those silly noise issues (and not tell me "I can't hear anything"), and 3.) Just overall good friendly people.

I live in Bethlehem, PA and am looking at dealers within the tri-state area, NY, NJ, PA. Any recommendations on who I should be buying my mini from?

Thanks,

-Dee

I read on another site where someone bought from MINI of the Hamptons and paid over $1000 less than MSRP. Don't know if it's anywhere near you but that'd be the FIRST and ONLY place I'd go.

Why not drive down to Baltimore? MINI of Towson always gives MINI loaners, and has a great staff. If you decide to drive down, see Tony Roles. Tony is British, and knows just about everything there is to know about MINI's.
