Hi All,

I just found the mellow yellow club, yah!!

I would like to introduce Woodstock, I just got him 2 weeks and 1 day ago. He already has 1600 miles on him. I named him Woodstock after I punched the gas pedal and it did that torque steer thing, it just reminded me of how Woodstock flies, all loopy.

He comes with the following: Leather Punch Carbon Black - Anthracite Headliner - Premium Package (mulitfunction steering wheel, sunroof, auto airconditioning)- Sport Package (17" wheels, DSC, headlight powerwash, xenon lights) Sport Suspension - Comfort access - Chrome Line Interior - Piano Black - Rear Fog Lights - Mini Hi-Fi Sounds System - Bluetooth

I have also tinted the windows with SunTek Carbon (non metallic) tint, 18% on the back 3 windows and the windshield visor area and 45% on the front windows.

I'm about an hour away from putting on a JCW carbon fiber hood scoop and sports stripes. I'll post pics after they complete the job. (I hope it won't look dorky)

guys ...wanted to ask something.. how do you think our yellow looks with the checkers? i want to change the piano black on the inside because it gets soooo dirty and was thinking of getting the checkers?

really looks good with the yellow roof. you do not see many without a different coloured roof. and woodstock is a kool name. enjoy enjoy.

I drove it 450 km home and it was AMAZING. Everything I thought it could be.

 

I have the checkered silver (stock) interior- think it looks great. Doesn't show any fingerprints. Black cloth seats, MY colorline, stock headliner.

 

yea the black and white checkers. im working on blacking out all or at least most of my chrome first and then thought of changing a few things to the checkered stuff instead of the black.

Have any of you noticed how easily the front bumper and front part of the hood chip with every day usage especially on the highway?

I had wondered the same thing, but I didn't want to risk it looking too garish. I got the Piano Black, and I figured it I wanted to see what the checkers would look like, it's easy enough to model with tape.

If you end up doing it, be sure to post pictures!

 

Same for the windshield. My dealer was telling me it was due to the near vertical surfaces. Rocks tend to really impact instead of glance off.

 

I cannot stand having any more of these hideous chips. I can see the green primer or undercoat underneath and it looks ghastly on a car that is our Mellow Yellow.

I'm going to get the clear bra installed on my vehicle. the place has offered to touch up my current chips before they put it on. If any of you are having problems with chips, I highly recommend getting this kind of protection.
