No doubt! This thread could certainly use a few more!

What's my excuse??? ............ Well, I was installing the Mini OEM roof racks (for my surf boards) when I finished one side then started on the other and ... There it was. Chip, scratch, AND a ding! needless to say, it's in the body shop.

That's a bummer. Hope you get it back soon. These yellow ones are just too fun to drive.

There's too many coincidences here, I named my Mellow Yellow MCS Mini Mama Mia, after my late mother, your login is MiniMama, my sister, who was named after my mother, her nickname is Maggy, your car's name. I feel like we're related somehow! Congrats!

Wow! I've ordered my MY/W MC, I search for an owners club, and what do I find, but someone from my hometown. That's bizzare! What the. . . ?

I can hardly believe anyone in FM has a Cooper much less a yellow one AND a blue one! I bet you get the looks! LOL!

I'll be on the look out for you when I am visiting this summer! I doubt I'll even have my baby by then though!

Small world! Yep, Yep!

Congrats on your good taste in Minis!

We're not the only Minis here in town, There's a PW and a Liquid Yellow.

4 MINIs in FM - very nice, and two yellows, I like it!

I have not seen a MY/W in person, but have seen the LY/W which is very nice. I hope I really like it since I didn't get to see one, and most people seem to like the black. I like that too, but a MINI with a white roof seems more old school, and if I'm anything, it's old school! Go Bloodhounds!

I have read that they are coming out with some new colors soon, maybe I can get a lime green one in a couple of years. That would be sweet!

Thanks, I should be getting it back today. They painted the entire roof. I took it to a BMW Mercedes dealer that has been around for a long time. I trust it should be done right!

has anyone done the Joey Mod? I want to do this but am debating on what color scheme to follow. I want to do flat black outer light bezels for sure but as far as which way to go with the joey mod, I am undecided between: black w/xenon light bezel painted MY or to reverse it and do MY w/black xenon light bezel.

If anyone has done this, it would be nice to see some pics

I think if you do the Joey mod, it would look better if you went black on the light bezels... I'm just surprised I went through the whole thread and didn't see one example of someone blacking out the light bezels yet...

I live in the Bay Area, so on Friday, I'm going to give Lyle from VinylStyles a visit and he's going to wrap my headlight bezels in black and install a custom "MINI" roof decal. I got my Mini last week and here's what she looks like right now.... Right now it's missing front mesh grill that's going to be replaced this Saturday by the dealer. I also just bought some 17" OZ Ultraleggeras for her on Ebay the other day. Next thing will be some BC coilovers when they become available for the R56... It's nice to finally be in the club!

No doubt

So far, have been able to get it to show just one image, would like to have had something like this:
[SIGPIC]https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/gallery/data/500/Rt-Rear_Thumbnail_Web_view1.jpg[/SIGPIC]28April2008, 'Trixi' Cooper Automatic+Sunroof+AutoAir+HiFi+CruiseControl+15" Rotator Six Spoke

But Sig-O-Matic says that only one image is allowed.

Just posting some random MY goodness. This is my favorite Killboy picture from the 07 Dragon. My MY toy is a very early build r-56, Dec 06 build and one of the intro cars. Only option is sport suspension, no multifunction wheel, no nuthin. Fantastic . . . If you ever do the dragon, you have to get your Killboy shots!

Post some brighter pics. . .too dark. . .can't see. . .very mysterious looking in the garage like that

I'm doing the light bezels the same as I did the grille, flat black paint. But my question is should I do the xenon light bezel MY with the light fixture flat black or xenon light bezel black and light fixture MY?

xenon light bezel black and light fixture MY
- This looks good on the Ferrari and new Corvettes, but you'd definitely be taking a risk.

xenon light bezel MY with the light fixture flat black - I'm kind of leaning on this combo.

I'd like that combo, except for mine, I'd do the bezel yellow and keep the rest chrome.
