I think you will be pleasently surprised. It looks really nice . I think the joey mod puts it all together though. I bought the MW paint from Minspeed thias weekend, just need to grow a pair and get it done.

Ok MOTD here I come!!! I just got the okay from my significant other and work that I can go!!! I am soooo excited, this is my first MOTD. Almost went last year but could not get the time off from work.
So, are we MW owners gonna meet up at some point so our MINIs can get acquainted with each other
Oh, and I decided to do the joey mod this weekend, so I'll post pics when the entire BO process has been completed.

Well, the process is almost finished! I'm doing the beltline BO as soon as I get the kit from Outmotoring, sometime this week.
I was terrified about doing this but it is simple enough that I would recommend this to anyone. I used a heat gun (which I have never used one before) to loosen the seal. The hardest part was getting the plastic piece off from the projector ring. Otherwise was simple.

Hey Folks.
Newbie here with a new 2009 MY/B Cooper (6M stick, of course). It's got a few bells and whistles (BT/iPod, Hi Fi, Sunroof, Piano Black Int, Black Bonnet Stripes, etc).
But mod fever has already hit. Just want to spice it up a little bit more over time. But for now, first priorities are floor mats (can't believe I forgot about those in the purchase...) and window tint.
After that, I need to find me some relatively inexpensive black wheels!
Cheers!

Black headliner and interior is the way to go. I ordered the after market wood grain trim for the door rings and the small area that is exposed does not even show up when it is black where the gray does. Now I would have gotten the black dash and just used the after market wood trim for the dash as well. Then I could have gotten any type of wood I wanted.
Where did you get the aftermarket dash parts? link? Also were the door rings easy to change?
Thanks in advance.

The picture they show of a Mini is poor quality and looks bad. On it you can see that the gray shows all over making the wood look fake. I discovered that when the background is "black" you do not notice it and the wook looks very nice. The parts are thick and domed rather then flat. I was pleased.
Not everyone is into wood trim saying it looks like their grandfather's car, but it reminds me of the MG TD and the Auston Healey 3000 which also had wood.

Yeah - if I were configuring the car myself, I may not have chosen the piano black. But now that I see it on the car, I'm glad it came with it!!
