Welcome!

Sorry can't help with the medallion. I think there is source on the site where there are many different images on MINItoons and emblems but not sure where, sorry

Anyway, have fun running to the store. You'll find that those 5 minute trips will turn into 15-20 minutes trips

AMVIV in March should have someone selling these

Man, I can't believe you're parking in a handicap zone...

Yep, black rims are the way to go on a yellow mini. IMO

Yeah, thumbs up for the new thread name! I'm not sure why I prefer white roof and mirrors and if I changed the wheels, I'd probably go with white there too. The only black on the outside of mine is the thin black line on each side of the stripes. I like other people's MINIs okay, once they've added the black, like Sharpie did, but for me, I think I like the sunnier look of the yellow and white.

I like them both too, but the black grabbed me first. My plan is to do my own mid ownership face lift down the road. Change the top to white with new, full wrap graffic, stripes and mirror caps. Lots of options.

Mellow yellow and black rims just look right... I've had the car lowered like this for awhile now, but I think I need to work on my stance more. I'm going to try to add 5mm spacers in the front and some 10mm spacers in the rear. Hopefully my next rims will be some BBS RS.

Congrats MTS and welcome to the madness. Don't be surprised if you find yourself driving it more than she does...

Is your mini a JCW or did you buy an S with the JCW aero kit on it?

Doesn't matter, just curious.... looks great.

It's just an S with the JCW aero kit. I drive a special edition Porsche, but in researching the Cooper, more than one person on the Porsche forums said I'll end up wanting to drive the Copper more than the Porsche. I sure was shocked at how much fun it was to drive on the test drives......it may very well be the case!

I've got a few friends that have mini's and porsches (porschee? ) and they spend more time behind the wheel of the mini because of the fun factor.

And besides, we like to play with Porsches too....

All in fun my friend, all in fun.... I love porsches and both of my bodyshops do much of the Hendrick dealership's work in town. The biggest one is the Acura store and the store GM is recently also the GM for the porsche store..... (you know where that's going... )

Great looking cars on here.

I am sneaking up on mods for the Fierce Yellow Car. I used a lot of near-term car "budget" on roof racks and accessories this month. I need to figure out how to burn through my factory tires so I can get some new BLACK rims (and cool new tires, of course). They just look killer with the MY.

Hey Mark,

I prefer the non-tints to my ride, but I love the way your ride came out! Must be nice to own a shop and race all day... You're living the dream man! seriously....

Anyways, just snapped some pics with my brother over the weekend during x-mas...

Looks great but then again you know I'm partial to both those colors.

Hah, cool! Here I thought this thread would be "deader than a doornail" now MINI has discontinued MY as a factory color.

I've been seeing several new MY Coopers in San Diego county. If anyone here in San Diego county sees an all-MY MCS with Brecht rally decals and SDMini sticker on the side, wave back! I'm waving to you. We need to get together and make an appearance with the San Diego Yellow Swarm.

Also, for anyone who remembers me from months ago, Luigi took Best In Class at the San Diego British Car day a few months ago. It took a bit of a team effort to get the votes, but we got it.

I think you are the only MY Clubman S regardless of San Diego (given what you did to acheive getting your Clumbman in MY)...

We are a rare breed....anywhere!!

Actually, mine is a all-MY Cooper S and there are at least two here in SD: I saw another for sale at San Diego MINI, the new dealership last month. There are also two more MY and Black Coopers in San Diego County, one was sold the same day we bought ours, and the other I've seen around.

Sadly, it looks like MINI has discontinued all types of yellow for the current production year for all models but Clubman, in addition to discontinuing MY early last year. Kinda guarantees we remain an exclusive club. This also reminds me to get my touchup paint now before it all disappears.
