If it were my choice - Laser! Love the blue/black combos!
However, go with what YOU want - with what your gut tells you. I think the stuff about cops/tickets is...well...crap.

I drive a Chili Red/B S. Red is supposed to be the most ticketed color - I guess because it's "racy"?
I drive A LOT (21,000 in 11 months) and haven't been stopped. I'm not always in my "spirited" drive mode, but since getting my MINI I definitley make a point of it.
