How Come This Happens?

Just vacuumed my MINI for the first time...new Aug.1, and there is a deep gouge and a scrape under where the seat belt receptor coverers the side of the plastic of the center peice. There is an accordian like cover on the belt part, that rests against this) looks like someone gouged it with a knife, and a bit of the plastic is cut away and sticking up. Had to pull my seat way forward to spot it. My MA insisted many times that they are inspected carefully. Gees.... I'm not so sure!

I know we hate to find the first imperfection in our babies. But that one comes under the heading of don't sweat it.

Enjoy the ride!

Sounds like next time you take your MINI in for service, you should add this to your "warranty" fix it list...
