the armrest stinks. when people lean on it im afraid its going to break. not to mention it blocks the cup holder so u can only put a skinny water bottle in there. another thing is that its the biggest cup holder out of the 3 in the car. i like the cup holders in front for drinks but one is used for the ashtray(coin holder) so i tried to put it in back under the armrest and the cup holder was too big and it just moves around. wat a lame design, big cup holder but the armrest blocks the way.. way waste of money. i want to take it out but i might as well use it since i paid for it. ps it doesnt hold anything not even my wallet. maybe u can put tic tacs in there or pencils or a tire pressure gauge.
i recommond not getting it
ps its barely long enough for my elbow to rest on and a tad bit low for me.

I did not order mine with one, as it interfered with shifting.

Test drove my friend's 07 with the armrest and didn't have a single problem with it. 200+ miles, never came open, and was always there when I wanted it. YMMV

The way I'm used to driving, I need that arm rest. In my test drives, I never had a problem with it, and hated the test drive without it.

That said, I wish I knew that there was an aftermarket option, which looks bigger and better.

Bottom line, to each their own!
