Couple of firsts for my MINI today

Encountered my first rain storm coming over the mountain on my way home from work today. Got my first taste of the rain sensing wipers in action. I must say, pretty cool. Rain started from a few drops to a downpour in a few seconds and the wipers adjusted speed pretty fast. I was impressed. When you first read about them, I think one's natural tendency is to think "gimmick." But they work well.

Also had my first night drive tonight too, believe it or not, after 6 days of ownership. Dare I say, motoring at night may be cooler than day time. And I hate night driving. Or used to anyway. Course, I'm coming from 9 years in a car that had minimal interior lighting and shitty head lamps. But the MINI interior gets even better looking at night.

I totally agree. Night driving is awesome. Ambient Lights + Bi-Xenon Headlights make it so-oo good.

Uhm, you are supposed to be watching the road while driving, not the interior lighting.

Eh, just apply the sport button and whip through those cars like they were standing still! <img>
