See my gallery. That's grey leatherette, black headliner, multifunction wheel, chromeline, brushed alloy dash and door pieces. For some tastes, this is DULL. I like the chromeline because the grey rings to me just draw your eyes to grey plastic, whereas the chromeline draws you to, well, chrome, and helps alleviate the plastic look and offsets all the dark stuff. BTW, I've never had an issue with the chromeline "blinding" me while driving. It's a non issue. I said I'd build it so the interior was opposite the exterior, so there you have it...all pepper white, dark as a coffin inside, highly functional. The leatherette is great and after five months I like it just as much as the day I picked it up at the dealer. I wanted a Mini that did not shout RACE CAR, SPORTS CAR or ARREST ME. To the huge majority of people, it just looks like a little white car, plain and simple. 07 MCS, LSD, sport suspension and six speed box with 16 inch bridge spokes speaks differently when the gas pedal goes down. Car was $28.8k out the door.
I just found out my new Lightning Blue/Black MCS is at the dealership, and as soon as the certified checks are recieved and some tax issues taken care of, I'm picking it up! My question for this interior topic is with the blue and black seats (or any multi-color cloth/leather combination), what do the BACK seats look like? I'd like to see a picture... Are they also multi-color or just black?
