A little update.... I reset the OBC and took a 60-mile, mostly highway, trip, and got 33 mpg. I think what's killing the mpg for me in everyday driving is that I live on top of a very steep hill, drive just a few miles to work with short blocks and stop signs, and when I do get a chance to open it up, I DO! Nice to see the higher mpg on the highway, at least.

On a recent 325 mile trip to Los Angeles down California 1 (Carmel to Cambria) and 101, I got 32 mpg and I was not driving conservatively.

I had been seeing a gradual decline in mpg in my MCSm, down to 32 mpg lately. Friday night I checked the tire pressure before leaving for the Madison, WI -area Mini gathering and HHH drive. All were low! The right front was at about 22 :( Pure negligence -- hadn't checked since I got the car in April.

I pumped them all (17" runflats) up to the door-pillar recommendation of 38 psi, and got 37.18 mpg on the HHH trip, driving 70-75 on highways and some spirited, high-rpm miles in the Mini HHH cruise.
