Gotham Grey is a free option to make the door panels/sides match the standard grey headliner.

I have the brushed alloy in my new MCS. It does brighten the interior. It is very nice at night, too - the interior driving lights (the soft blue always-on lights) reflect off of the brushed alloy dash from above and from the door handles. Makes for a nice ambience in the cockpit when nocturnal motoring is in order.

The interior driving lights (or whatever they are called) are just too cool for school. Another one of those great MINI touches

One thing about the brushed alloy: I haven't had to clean it yet but it seems like the texture/grain may catch lint from a cleaning cloth. Anyone with wisdom to impart on this?

Definitely catches lint, stay away from paper towels, I use a soft brush.

Sounds weird but I use a basting brush in the interior. The detailing shops sell the same thing for a lot more $$. The brush allows you to clean all the cracks / vents etc and is really the only thing needed to keep the dust off the alloy parts. Also have a second one to use on the wheels with soap to clean all the hard to reach places.
