interior pics with brushed alloy needed
I'm still trying to finalize my MCS specs, but am having difficulty with the interior. The car color will be laserblue/white. I want the brushed alloy with the interior chrome line, but don't know what to pair them with.
Am leaning toward the standard headliner with gotham grey.... The other choice i'm thinking of is with the anthracite headliner and the dark grey.
Any interior pictures using these two design elements (brushed alloy and interior chrome line) would be greatly appreciated.
And I'd like to hear any opinions or suggestions for this interior....
The local dealer doesn't have any cars with either the brushed alloy or the gotham grey.
Oh, yeah...I'm planning on tinting the windows as dark as possible....and I want the rubber mats cause it rains a lot here in Seattle, but I'm worried that the whole thing will be just too dark.
Help!

You really need to see it in person. The brushed alloy is hard to describer and pictures really don't do it justice. On my recently ordered Pure Silver MCS I had to have three different Mini's in a row to really see how each surface played off of different interior colors.
Incidentally, I went with the brushed alloy, anthracite headliner, and chrome trim.

i have brushed alloy with pacific blue, anthracite headliner (i agree -- a must), chrome, and the grey leatherette. hopefully you can see some of the details from this pic (attached). sorry it's not a better photo.
i think the grey on the supports and "codpiece" of the seats accents the brushed alloy nicely. oh ... my MINI is lightning blue/black.

I went with the anthracite headliner (LOVE IT), and the standard grey colorline. Was thinking about getting the blue or cream, but figured those would get dirtier easier, and would also cost more. I do not have the chromeline, however.

See my gallery...brushed alloy, chromline, anthracite headliner, standard leatherette seats, black rubber floormats. I like it just fine.

Yep, that's another reason I went with the brushed alloy (even though the piano black is beautiful!) is that it's metal, and already has a texture to it, so it's harder to scratch, and if you do scratch it, it doesn't look any different - whereas the piano black, silver, and checkerboard are plastic. I don't know... perceived toughness?

No vinyl. It's also felt.
What is the Gotham Grey? Is that the standard?
I went with standard leatherette seats and Fluid Silver. Not the most exciting, I guess, but I wanted the flash outside (CR/W), and a classic non-busy interior. BTW, it's the first car in some time without leather, but I didn't like the choices, at least for '07. I don't know what's available now.
