I've NEVER said I get things fouled up or have trouble using it. An idiot can use them, and an idiot can program 3 flashes. I have simply said that I hate the "tactile aspect of the turn signals." Read #38. Of the many cars I've had over the years, it's the only time I've had this complaint. They "fixed" something that didn't need fixing. That's all--don't read anything more than that into my posts.

And don't turn this into a flame...

Yea, if this thread didn't start out as a joke/spoof it definitely has become one...

Okay...okay.....sheesh!!! Some folks have gotten crossways with them in the past, that's all!!! I think they're great, so obviously I'm curious.

Yeah, these signals took a day of getting used to. They're actually the style of signals BMW is putting in all their vehicles now. I even read an auto magazine that called this style of signal switch "BMW Signal Switches."

no doubt they take some getting used to. at first i thought i just had those british electrical gremlins in the car or something until i got the hang of them. of course the whole car is so different than my mazda3.

when the dealer gave me a loaner than didn't have the 3-click programmed I kept hitting it as if it did...funny what we can get used to. still not sure if I prefer it tho! i still find myself holding it down at times when 3 clicks won't cut it when changing lanes on 495/deathway.
