I wish you could buy the Challenge version of the body kit... different front and rear - they look so nice! IMHO much nicer than the JCW-aero-kit.

I wish I could race someone else's mini too! Looks pretty fun, seems like pretty good budget cup racing. No surprise that decent suspension geometry on a road car makes a good race car.

I think the power output is about the same as the R53 JCW road cars, 154kW (206bhp) ... they're basically the JCW Stage I R56 MCS road cars, plus roll cage, slicks etc.

The outup is basically the brand new MCS JCW (new sub-brand - aka JCW Stage 2) which has 211bhp.
The JCW Stage 1 has "only" 192bhp.

I know this is a bit confusing, but the highlights package from Round 1 aired this weekend as well. You can watch the clips
HERE .
Highlights from Round 2 air in about 3 weeks.

I can't wait til they make some Scalextrics of these cars!!!!! They're the only makers doing replicas of real MINI Challenge cars.

They had a Scalextric track set up in the corporate tent on the weekend. I should have taken a photo. The cars were R53 Coopers, though, not replicas of the Challenge cars.
