Stock Tire Size on 2007 MCS

I have a 2007 MCS with the crown spoke rims in the sport package. I was trying to find the tire size for those so that I could find some rims to fit the tires i already have. Please Help! If you need more information just tell me what and I will tell you.

The tires that are currently on your crownspokes should be 205/45/17. You will have to find an aftermarket rim that those tires would fit.Check out TIRE RACK for some good prices on aftermarket rims.

If you are going to purchase new rims they will be lighter and I would get new tires too. Exactly if you are have run flats.

Yes, 205/45-17 is the tire size. The wheels size you want would be 17x7 4x100 with an offset of somewhere around 40 to 45.

Edit: hub size should be 56.1mm

Metal stems have TPMS (tire pressure monitoring). You want new rims that can accept the system.
If you car is an 08, it has it.

I have the pressure monitoring system on my 2007 though too. Does that mean it has the metal ones as well?

Both rubber and metal valve stem MINI OEM wheels have TPMS!

Here's some photos for reference:

The 2007 MINIs upto Sept 2007 (IIRC) had a rotation based tire pressure monitoring system. Then the government requirement for the in-wheel sensors went into effect and all MINIs started arriving with the in-wheel sensors. You can buy new sensors for your new wheels. Most tire places can supply them. Or, you can transfer the ones from your OEM wheels if you have a buyer who doesn't want them.

Or turn your OEM wheels into winter wheels with a set of Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25!!

Fun with wheels!
