It really comes down to what you want, it's your mini, I think it's a reflection of us, our mini's, and no matter what you get, I'm sure you'll be happy *** a pig in sh#% with it, happy future motoring to all !!
I chose the BRG w/black roof and the redwood lounge leather interior -- was a bit concerned about the interior, but it looks 'hot' ... glad I chose what I did. I made about 14 different configs before I finally settled. Whatever your choose, you'll be totally in love with it. Cheers!!
I couldn't decide between the two of them, so I had my wife and brother in law decide. They chose the right color for me, have someone else make the final choice, you've worked hard enough
This is kind of like asking if one likes cake or roast beef. Two entirely different things. If I didn't opt for the more flipant, humorous LB, I would have gotten the traditional, deep and impressive BRG.
I was between these 2 colors, as well as Pepper White and Dark Silver. To me the Blue just stood out more than the rest, so thats what I picked. I also went with the Black roof/mirrors because I plan to black it out eventually . Also, You could be different and black out a BRG MINI. Don't think I've seen one of those yet although I'm sure its out there.

Can you PLEASE post some pics, that seems like such a weird color combo. It probably works well during christmas with all the red and green
I like the lighting blue/w white top more mostly because blue is my favorite color, but both appear too dark for me. I went with the lighter color blue of Laser Blue. And since it was lighter I went with the more contrasting black top and black bonnet stripes. I also noticed that the Cooper S brochure primarily featured two colors as they attempted to sell the car to prospective buyers skimming those pages, namely the chili red and the laser blue.
I was originally thinking of LB, but I didn't want to be confused with a Colts fan. They had a BRG model in the showroom and that sold me...I don't look at the metallic as a drawback at all, regardless of tradition.
