I had to ask for them. Multiple times. At first the guy told me that they weren't included and i had to pay full price for them. HA! Every car should come w/ floor mats, especially when you buy them brand new.

Don't feel too neglected, all I got was a smile as they took my check and then showed me the door!

I only got free floormats from my MA. He promised that he'd send me a specific tshirt that i requested, and he hasn't yet. That was a month ago. I wouldn't order from Mini of Sterling (Virginia) again.

I got my mini from Mini of Sterling in february. I had to pay for my mats, and I havent gotten anything from them in the mail at all and havent been contacted in any way by them since i got my car.

I don't think I paid for my floor mats, they gave me some rubber Cooper S mats.

UPDATE

Out of a burning curiosity I just called MINI USA at 1-866-ASK-MINI and spoke with a CSR and he confirmed all of my information and said that I should expect the Motoring Pack within the next 6 weeks.

I asked him what is included in the pack and he said a DVD about the features and operation on the car, etc. along with some other stuff but wasn't 100% sure what else is included. So I don't know if it will be like the other items that were already posted here.

A couple of trinkets (playing cards, lightning bolt air 'exhilerator') plus mats (rubber) when I picked up the car. An adventure kit about six weeks later, and four of five months after that, a very nice golf shirt from BMW America with an embroidered MINI on the front and the wing logo on the back collar.

My dealer gave me free carpet AND rubber mats, boot liner and wheel locks with the car, so I don't expect any other freebies to show up. Did get a nice thank-you card in the mail from the salesperson, though.

A golf shirt! I didn't get a golf shirt!.. I have been robbed!
Just kidding... I have received plenty from MINI that I wasn't even expecting....
Toyota once lost a deal because at the last moment when I was getting ready to drive off the lot
they wanted to pull the floor mats, stating that they did not come with the car.
I told them that I did not want the car if it did not come with everything that I test drove it with
and they said no way to free floor mats.
So long story short I said no way to purchasing their Toyota Camry.

No motoring kit yet...only a month so far...

But I did get my Cooper S rubber floor mats, and the rear bumper protector free when I picked up the car.

Yeah, I hesitated to mention the golf shirt because I haven't seen anyone else say they got one and didn't want people to get all green with envy !

Probably shouldn't say anything about the custom fitted Louis Vuitton luggage and picnic set with the MINI logo linings or the first class tickets to Oxford to tour the factory either!

I got 4; YES FOUR! "MINI PARKING ONLY" Stencils after I registered on MINIUSA.com.
Then Again, I haven't had my car but a few days. So if I get something Cool... If not I'll just have to use one of the stencils ;O)

I hope my Association doesn't mind.

I got some goodies when I picked him up. I also got a nice thank you letter from my MA yesterday...one month after purchase. Nice touch. No Adventure Kit yet though...I'm still hoping. I gave the dealership a GREAT review on the survey...so if you're reading this dealership, I'd like my Kit now please

Good to know. How long have you had your MINI? I've only had mine a month so far but haven't received anything yet. Not even a simple thank you note!

We got rubber floor mats, but I had already purchased carpet mats. Our MA also let us pick out whatever we wanted from the parts "store". We both got hats and I took a keychain. I would say 90% of the items were BMW. I'm excited to see if there is going to be an adventure pack in my future.

Are you talking about the price of the MINI or the extras?
As far as the extras are concerned they were not a bargaining item, it was just something
extra from MINI-USA and the dealer to say thank you for doing business with them.

Since I belong to the local Mini Club (Atlanta Mini's), I got free window tint. No free mats as I took the old ones out of the Cabrio and they're in good shape.
Got my Adventure kit about 8 weeks after I bought the cabrio so am hoping to get another one soon - I hear they change the contents every so often.
Oh - and got a bunch of Hot Chocolate Mini Fortune Cookies , hidden in my secret compartment to find later.

Come to think about it... I think the dealer did throw in the front floor mats when the deal was closed. I have no idea if it was an actual addition or not, but they are on. And since I didn't get the rear rubber mats, I'm guessing it was thrown in there. Cause we all know the factory doesnt make those types of mistakes.

Now, the MA did also tell me that he would get me a discount on any accesories too. But of course, to me he was blowing hot air from his buttox since I've called him twice and in one week, he hasn't gotten back to me.
