R56 Did you receive anything from MINI after purchase?

I just picked up on Saturday from MINI of Dallas, but I didn't even get a pat on the back. My intro to my new car was about 7 minutes long. Mind you, I'm a previous owner of an R53, but one would think that there are enough changes to warrant 20 minutes or so.
Time will tell if I get anything in the mail.

Yes, I bought my 2009 MCSa from Crown in Richmond. I don't think the dealers have anything to do with the freebie kit, though. Mine came from MINI USA as a result of registering on their website.
I did get a certificate in the mail from Crown last week, though, but it was nowhere near as good as the 20% discount on parts that some have mentioned. There were two coupons: one for 15% off of any installed accessory and another for a complimentary vehicle inspection if I'm having any problems with the car (not sure how this differs from warranty coverage, though, since I assume there'd be no charge if I was having problems anyway). Both coupons expire in 60 days.

The more I read, the more it appears this is the case. Dealer-specific gifts tend to be promotional items that not only involve MINIs, but the dealer's name (i.e. cookie tins, umbrellas, t-shirts, etc.). However, I've read that some have registered on MINI's site and have yet to receive anything. Wait times vary greatly as well. Does anyone here actually work for MINI and can shed some light on this?

Crown MINI of Richmond
Hi everyone, I will be taking delivery of my 4th new MINI (5th in the family, actually) from Crown MINI of Richmond sometime next month. I was the 1st deposit holder with them in June 2001 .
I don't think they give many 'freebies' to new owners, however I escaped paying the silly $399 processing fee on my current (2006) and last MINIs. With my 2009 JCW Clubman, I plan to ask for a few accessories to close the deal as well. It pays to ask - the worst they can say is no!
Last week I went to shoot the breeze over there as I am friends with many of the sales folks and they kindly provided me with a new MINIMOTORINGGRAPHICS.COM 32oz water bottle
For SALES, I recommend Steve S or Jessica . For SERVICE, Clay M has been the man and has provided excellent service to me in recent months (has not always been the case since 2002 when I bought my 1st MINI just 3 weeks after they opened their doors).

The videos and car is not from MINI but everything else is.
The airfreshener, cookie tin with excellent chocolate chip cookies, the two key fobs and playing cards.
(not pictured: CD holder and a box full of many surprises).
If I can find the box I'll take a look inside and see what else they sent me.

WOW! Thats some sick swag you got there. I only got the box with the window color forms, notbook, pen, joke book, and antenna 8 ball. Two free t-shirts too although one was from a rally so that doesn't count. I like that movie and toy car you got there, you did good.
