Any advice on buying a dealer demo?

Century Mini in Greenville seems to have an MCS with the specs I want. 240 miles, just entered demo status a couple of days ago.

Any chance of a deal? Anything to be wary of?

That's 240 miles of demo driving before the break-in period is done. It quite likely went over the factory recommendation to keep it under 4,500 rpm for the first 1,200 miles. I don't know how important that is, but it would bother me. It would have to be a really really good deal. Even then...

Well, and they just sent me the window sticker, and it's the usual $1500 in dealer-added nothingness. Clearcoat and scotchguard.

I'm not going to drive/fly 400 miles to get raped on this.

I'd rather build one and wait.

I would rather do without some options than take a dealer demo.

If somebody crapped in passenger seat, I want it to be because of my driving. Not some lookie-lou.

I think a lot of people would say just don't buy the one they test drove!

Yeah, and I started looking at it, and it was $1250 in wheels I didn't need, $250 in a chrome line interior I didn't want, no DSC, no limited slip.

I think I'd rather build from scratch.
