Stop rubbing the D in! I'm just kidding, I only wish we could get the diesel in the USA...

Great looking car!

Awesome! Great wheels too. If the D was available here that would have been my choice too. Enjoy it!

Great looking car!
When gas hits $5 a gallon and people can't afford to eat anymore because their car only gets 12 mpg maybe we will. I won't hold my breath though. People would rather starve than get rid of their penile/breast compensation devices (SUV's).

Nice Cooper zimbo!

What other mods are in the works for your "D"?

When I get a chance I will see what I can do. Plenty more mods planned already, new bits are already on their way to me as I type. Things I am thinking of doing are Joey mod (maybe), JCW seats, paint the brake calipers and definately lower the car, these 18s still look so small in those arches... Just need to decide what to go for.

With 200 miles on the odometer so far am getting 48.4 MPG

The one major difference you can tell the between a standard Cooper and a Diesel is by looking at the bonnet/hood because the Diesel has a sort of bulge in it, if that makes any sense!

Will need to also join the Chili Red owners club once I find out how to

Impressive!! Is the Scottish mile different than the U.S. mile?
