I currently am using a cloth seat loaner. Friends of mine have the leatherette and I find it nicer to look at and more comfortable as a seating surface. Just my opinion. I have lounge leather.

My lounge leather car have no issues with seams and the only "less than perfect" areas on the LL are a slight butt print on my seat. That area also seems to restore itself after a few hours in the sun. PS..my car is 11 months old and has 10K miles. I have the cream colorline but english oak trim with the black LL seats.
