Rear Fog Light Retrofit

Has anybody had a dealer perform the Rear Fog Light retrofit on their MCS? I had my dealer (Northwest Mini) quote me ($160 installed), then come back and tell me they couldn't do it, something that dealt with the reprogramming of the car that wouldn't work properly with the lights.

I am pretty sure I would pay a lot of money JUST to get that one empty switch location (where the rear fog light would go) filled with a switch. I probably wouldn't care if it did absolutely nothing, that empty switch drives me crazy.

I checked and you can buy just the toggle switch for around 15 dollars and mount it. I have heard removing the switch panel is quite a chore so perhaps a dab of gorilla glue would do the trick.

Rear Fog Retrofit on a Clubman

Has anyone had a dealer perform a rear fog lamp retrofit on a clubman. Dealers in Texas say it cannot be performed even though rear fog lamp preparation is listed as a standard feature. Please let me know; may plan a trip around the install.
