Pepper Jack provides me with 36 MPG!

I just completed my fist entire tank with no highway driving. My commute is about 20 miles each way, 5 days a week. It is a mixture of county roads, state roads and city streets. No highway at all. Much of the drive is twisties with plenty of hills (and spirited driving ). AC in use much of the time. In general it is considerably less than optimal for best MPG. Yet it got an astounding 36.3 MPG (actual calculation). The OBC read 37.5 for the tank (pretty close). When I purchased the MINI I decided I would be happy with the mixed (city/highway) estimate of 32 MPG. Needless to say I am one very happy camper. I love this car!

33 on my current tank, 10 miles each way to work. No highway.

Did you see the morning news on the Prius or however it is spelled that get about 46 on the highway and this guy can milk out 70+ on the highway by his driving? Amazing!

I got 48 last tank. That's actual, ~680 miles on the tank of regular (Citgo). I was driving for mileage. It included a 300 mile highway (rolling hills) trip plus commuting on rural roads with several stop lights and signs. The constant highway speed can really add on the mpgs. My goal is 50 mpg and 700 plus miles. It'd take a long flat windless trip, I'd say.

I'm looking forward to the improved mileage when I pick up my Pepper White MCS on May 27. I'm planning to drive it as an alternate to my Toyota 4Runner (which will likely be driven in the winter).

Nice. I look forward to rubbing it in my buddies noses when I only have to gas up once on our road trips this summer.
