23 Yr Old White Male. Will be married in the next year or so.
Came out from a Ford Taurus in high school (sea foam green) and a 97 Eclipse which was fun but horribly slow. And a 2001 SV 650s (motorycle).
I never used to be a car guy, only a bike guy, but owning a mini is slowly changing that!!

I am 21, Male, reside in Colorado. (lack of sentence structure FTW)
- 1991 Accord (my first car), left me when she had 287 thousand miles. I still miss it
- 1997 GTi, first car that I bought. biggest piece of carp.
- 1991 GTi (8v) Funnest car I have owned thus far. Got it hoping I would have sold my Civic last Fall.
- 2002 Civic Si, Current car, the more I learn about it the more it makes me sick to own a Honda.
- 2006 MCS, My heart is reaching for it and my wallet stretching. I hope to have her by the end of the summer.

74 year old grandfather, married, retired. My new MCS replaced a 2006 Porsche 911S, which was sold prior to buying the MCS. I still have a 2005 Porsche Cayenne S which I plan to hang onto. Grandma drives a 2008 BWM 535xi. The 911S was my 5th 911, but it'll be my last -- too difficult for these old bones and bad knee to get in and out of it (not a problem with the MCS).

21, single male, about to graduate in June! woopwoop
i was driving a Dodge Spirit 1991 'Chadillac' (crazy bare bones, no casette player, manual windows, but I still loved it!) that died 2 years ago in the summer heat. So I've been a pedestrian/passenger for a while now. But I'm getting a MINI to celebrate! and for driving to work in August

when I got my licenses 10 yrs ago I drove my parents Chevy Cavalier SW. Went to Europe after high school for a couple of years and drove my parents 1985 Rover 213 SE(manual, dark blue interior, power windows. No A/C , great for driving in the Portuguese summers ).
After I came back I drove my parents '02 Trailblazer(POS) and then me and my sister shared a '95 Ford Probe(even bigger POS).
Finally 3 weeks ago my Mini arrived

mini demo
33 male,
04' MCS
bought this car because I love mini and well I've been driving a 64' chevy pickup and well filling up every week was a bit excessive. Now it's my weekend trip to local whatever car. I use the mini for both commuting locally to and from work and for weekend getaways and loving every minute.

I'm not so sure you'll get much statistical significance out of a forum poll You'll just get who regularly visits the mini forums. But single 23 male for me, and RSX-S before
But, as everyone already knows the MINI has an appeal that works in several different demographics. Offering great gas mileage, practical car for people who don't have to lug a family, in a common price range and the two big ones a "cute" retro appearance and very focused performance. The last two giving appeal that reaches across automotive enthusiast and people who just want a unique or neat looking car. (yeah thats performance for me )

25 (really? damn) Single white male. These dang cars are infectious, something the MA should have told me. Sticker price does not reflect the amount of time and money spent modding...and I've barely scratched the surface
Previous cars were totally uninspiring though practical:
1983 Ford Tempo
1990 Ford Ranger
1999 Pontiac Grand Am
