I seem to be the only Oxygen Blue Mini driver around my area. It seems to get a lot of attention!!
I was stopped at a stoplight yesterday and all of a sudden, I see the woman in front of me sticking her cell phone or camera out the window. She was trying not to be obvious but I could see her eyes in her rearview mirror looking back as she snapped the pic. She had this huge smile on her face!
I thought it was hilarious. It made my day.
(Actually, I was happy I had just washed it- would have been a disgrace if Wrigley had been dirty!)
I'm going to have to clean mine; he's been thirsting for more attention, but he so filthy! I guess he doesn't believe "mom" anymore when I tell him he's beautiful. Maybe somebody (other than me) will take a pic and make him feel better...
Congrats on getting snapped! (Hope you weren't picking your nose or something else equally embarrassing!)
I had someone snap a bunch of phone pics the other day while we both sat across from each other at a huge intersection. He must have had a super zoom lens on that sucker.
Congrats on you and your MINI being a sought-after-future-car celebrity! No pics for me yet but I get lots of smiles and waves and hellos !...from kids and adults!
A woman took a photo of my car once too.... at least l think it was my car she was interested in. I was turning a corner and mid conversation with my passenger when we both stopped and she said "did that woman just take a photo of us?". We probably both have confused looks on our faces in her photo. She was standing on across the street.
My favorite thing is when little kids smile and point at my MINI.
Kids always appreciate cool cars.
haha yeah, kids reactions are always the best. a few weeks after i got my mini, i went over to my aunt and uncles house, and my youngest cousin, who is 5, was outside. when he saw me pull up, he started jumping around all excited, then ran inside. i was really confused until he suddenly ran back out with 2 toy mini's and huge smile on his face. so i took him for a ride around the block. now he always asks me about it when i talk on the phone with him, and asks when im gonna come visit again...lol
and i thought I was my mini's biggest fan.....
I came out of a sandwich shop one day to catch a guy taking several camera pics of my car, he looked a little embarrassed, but just laughed and said he loved the car. My sister loves the kids reactions, they all seem to go crazy over the MINI, it's funny.
I have to admit, I'm guilty of photo-snapping, too...I parked someplace, and when I came back out to the car, there was a twin- 1969 version of my baby parked beside it!! How could I NOT take a photo???
