Why thank you.

How goes your efforts with the foot soldiers in the marches? The bug splatter deflector field device is almost done and Viola says her plans for world domination are nearly at their apex.

Based on what I've seen so far, those foot soldiers would be very useful...

BRG and MY owners may be onto something!

" ... we are discussing which is more exciting and I note that none of you are brave enough to pony up with your own arguments for why your color is more exciting than mine [PS] ..." RandomGemini

Candidly, I thought it might be a trivial exercise to refute all the baloney about which color is or isn't the most exciting. Much to my consternation after a bit of snooping here I found an interesting characteristic about the light spectrum: the intensity of light varies with color as the graphic shows.

Thus, if we assume light intensity can be correlated to "exciting" -- at least informally, then BRG and MY owners may have a point. Sympathies to the OB and CR crowds ... see the curve in the graphic.

Of course, all this is likely immaterial since as we all know, PW light can be decomponsed by a prism into all the other color hues and, therefore, basks in the glow of any single hue.

P.S. I, too, wish NFR was available in the MCS ... it's drop dead beautiful ... especially in the soft light of dawn.

MSC07MGM Thanks for shedding some much-needed light spectrum on the subject.

RandomGemini The CR foot soldiers, all gazillion of them, are standing to, awaiting orders.

Harkening back to the originator of this "club" ... it reminded me of a sign I gave my dad, made by what is NOW Uber MINI.... It's the "pirate eye chart." VERY COOL. My father ADORES it, and has posted it proudly at work.

Mile marker post (#500 for me) in this, the coolest of cool threads.

Ah the memories I have of this awesome thread... and the plans Viola and I have made for world domination that spawned out of a few bits of text exchanged over this digital domain...

Self Evident Axioms

Surely there are more numerous self-evident axioms other than these two:

1. There's one thing that money can't buy ... poverty.

2. The light at the end of the tunnel merely indicates:
a. a preferred way to run if an on-coming locomotive head-lamp ... away from.
b. otherwise, indeterminant.

Black and a mask is the mark of a true pirate me hearties! Now get back to swabbin' th' decks! *cracks whip*

No one would now guess that this club started by debating which color was faster. Arr. I think I like highwaymen better than pirates. Nobody gets sea-sick.
