No idea myself, still getting used to the stock one. You might want to check over in the drivetrain section of modifications though.

I don't think that's been done on an R56. That will void your warranty for sure, so be aware of that. I bet that would cost thousands if it could even be done. The OEM turbo gets hot enough!

Alta developed a kit with a GT-25 turbo. Go post in the Drivetrain section and ask about it, maybe you'll get lucky and Alta will give you more info on it, they've been awfully quiet about it.

You will need to also pay attention to the injector size, how much boost the injector duty cycle can sustain below 100%. Also, the amount of power the stock clutch/tranny is capable of handling. If it is an auto of course...how much that tranny can sustain.

I have a decent background tuning turbo cars and power is not an issue, the problem lies with all the supporting components. Another option you have is raising the boost. An easy mod such as a boost controller could yield a lot of power however...again...it is all relative to what the car can handle all together.

Good luck!

Alta has had a setup completed for a few months now but not a lot of current info. They are the first ones so far to admit to having such a project in the works.
