otterdad... are you talking $2500 over sticker? That seems extreme. Are people really willing to pay that?

I paid straight sticker. No deals to be had but no mark up either. Which I could live with.

What I can say is that after Mini of Concord offered me straight MSRP on a Clubman, I went to MofMV and offered them a chance to talk to me. The MA went to his supervisor and came back and told me essentially there was no talking, but that I could "still get service there."

MINIs aren't as much fun, IMHO, as automatics, but then again, I hate automatics in any car. Some people don't have the choice, though. My daughter's MINI, and her husband's as well, both have automatics because she has to drive with hand controls. My husband doesn't like sticks because of the commute argument, although he now drives the company van pool 15-seater. Maybe he'll come back to sticks when he retires next year, but I wouldn't hold my breath!

I'm an automatic girl too. Hated driving a stick, ugggg what a pain in traffic.

I used the internet here in the NY , NJ area and got below Msrp . Habberstad , Hassel, Morristown . All offered below Msrp to me.
