How does the cabin feel without a sunroof compared to having a sunroof? How much more cramped does it feel?

Minis have a big greenhouse

so it doesn't feel cramped to me at all. There's lots of glass all around you.

No comfort or claustrophobia issues without a sunroof here, and no extra weight up top!

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know for sure how much more headroom the car has without the sunroof?

I'm far from a starched collar folk. It's just that when you've owned a convertable, a sunroof seems like all of the bad without the good.

Want a rush, go 120 MPH in the Nevada desert with the top down, 114 degrees outside, and the A/C keeping your legs and chest cool. Now that's a rush! Sunroof? Not so much so.... But that's just me.

Yeah, sunroofs always seemed like you wish you could have a convertible.

There is nothing better then flying down the highway with nothing on top of you at all!

To me, when you've owned a sunroof, a convertible seems like all of the bad without the good.

I just ordered my mini yesterday and didn't include a sunroof. On my current car, I've used it twice? Both times, I cursed it was too hot and the sun wasn't fun in my eyes. I'd rather throw on a JCW Aero kit than be blinded.

Although I would put it more like the sunroof is like all of the good without the bad.

I say leave well enough alone, and skip the sunroof. I owned a Maxima with one for years and maybe used it 3 times. I guess I'm not a sunroof guy.
